second one on Sept. 23rd, 2002

Hadat lives in the countryside on a small farm plot with her husband and six children. She attended school for two years as a child but was needed on the farm and dropped out. She remembers some of the letters that she learned but can't remember enough to make sense out of the few signs in her village. She heard someone in the village brought back a holy book from the city. Hadat wishes she could read the book for herself and know God's word but she knows she will never be able to read those words.
Will she ever know what God really said? The priests tell her only what they want her to hear. She wants to know it all. God has heard the desire of her heart and has given some people in her country a vision for sharing the Gospel in stories which she can not only understand, but learn to repeat herself to her friends and her family.
