Sep. 30th, 2002 (request #2)
Tadela is a priest in a small village tucked away on the side of the mountain. For twenty years he has risen at 2am every Sunday morning and walked to his church in order to recite the Gospels in an ancient language that neither he nor the people listening can understand (Ga'eez). There is a longing in his heart to hear these words in his own language so he can understand them. God has heard that silent desire and has led people to begin working on a project that will make the word of God available on audiocassette. This effort, Project Day Break, will record the New Testament in dramatic, audio form. The plans for distribution will make the recording of the New Testament available to church all over the region.
